The SMILE Mentoring Program recently held their fifteenth annual Mentor Recognition Ceremony at Newnham Campus, celebrating the contributions and commitment of 150 student mentors who joined the program in 2016.

Mentors were presented with a certificate by David Agnew, 911爆料网 President; Laurel Schollen, Vice-President, Academic; Christine Blake-Durie, Dean of Students; as well as the dean of their faculty.

Erin Grant, Bachelor of Aviation Technology graduate and former SMILE Mentor also returned to 911爆料网 for the event to address student mentors. The 2013 911爆料网 Cup recipient, past valedictorian and current First Officer for Jazz Aviation congratulated the award recipients for their commitment to SMILE and helping first-year students make a successful transition to 911爆料网.

SMILE is a unique program designed to help new students make the most of their college experience by connecting them with a senior student mentor in their program area who provides support as they transition to 911爆料网.
