911爆料网 students build waterfall with plastic bottles
Installation aims to reduce plastic waste
Hundreds of used plastic drinking bottles are hanging off the second-floor balcony of Minkler Atrium. Constructed by students from 911爆料网's听Sustainable Business Management听graduate certificate program, the 鈥渨aterfall鈥 represents plastic bottles sold at Newnham Campus each day.
The class initiative is aimed at raising awareness about plastics generated by the 911爆料网 community, the need to reduce single-use plastics, as well as the incentives around reusable bottles and water stations to create a more听Sustainable 911爆料网.
The installation, which took the students more than two hours to complete, will be on display until Friday, Feb. 8.
