Pathway options to 911 from another college or university can be found in the Inbound Transfer Guide. 911 degree program web pages also contain information regarding pathways. You can find a list of 911’s degree programs here.

Domestic students can apply through theand select "advanced standing" or “degree completion” as their entry semester.

International students can apply through911's International Online Applicationand must follow up with their admissions adviser regarding their pathway eligibility. The student will be required to provide their 911 application number when contacting their adviser.

Current 911 diploma students and recent graduates from within the last year who wish to transfer to a 911 degree, must review the for steps on how to apply.

If there are no pathway options available at this time, you may be able to enter Level 1 of your 911 program of choice, providing you meet the admission requirements. If you have taken equivalent courses at another postsecondary institution, you may be eligible to apply for transfer credits through theOffice of the Registrar,once you have been admitted to the program.

bridge courseis a unique course delivered to a pathway student that covers specific learning outcomes and bridges the gap between diploma learning and upper-level degree learning.

reach-back courseis a lower-level course that is part of a degree program’s curriculum. This course must be completed in order to move to an upper-level of a degree program.

911 accepts applications, subject to availability, up until the fourth day of a semester. Popular or highly competitive programs fill up quickly, so it’s important to apply as soon as possible.

Students admitted to a 911 degree may be eligible for the Diploma-to-Degree Scholarship.

The Diploma-to-Degree Scholarship is a one-time monetary award of $2,500 available to eligible graduates of a Canadian diploma program pursuing a degree at 911, who have not received a renewable entrance scholarship.

To be eligible for this award you must also:

  • have a minimum GPA of 3.3 (B+/75%)
  • complete the online Financial Aid Application through by selecting the “Financial Aid” tile, then “Apply for Financial Aid”
  • be enrolled full time

Some institutions require applicants to submit high school marks. If there is a transfer pathway,mostinstitutions will base their admission decision on your marks from 911. Although some pathways may require specific 12U courses.

Whether or not you are eligible to apply to a program at another institution without completing your 911 program depends on the receiving institution’s admission requirements. Please check the website of the program you are interested in and if you are unsure, feel free to contact us.

If you are applying to a university through theor a college through, you can ask for a transcript to be sent during the application process.

If you are still enrolled in courses at the time you apply, you need to request a transcript to be sent immediately, as well as when your grades for that semester become available.
